Simone Bettinger

Simone Bettinger is the head of Aromatics process group at thyssenkrupp Uhde Engineering Services GmbH integrated in the operating unit Petrochemicals, Polyolefins & Refining at thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions. She has over 22 years of experience in process modelling and design of refining and petrochemical processes, including Licensor process design packages, basic & detail engineering, commissioning and troubleshooting, with a special focus in the field of the Aromatics production chain. Simone holds 2 degrees in chemical engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (TU Karlsruhe, Germany) and in Petrochemicals, Polymers and Plastic from IFP School (ENSPM, France).
