Ömer Yurttaş

Ömer Yurttaş is working as Process Superintendent in TÜPRAŞ Izmit refinery in Turkey, with a specialization in Naphtha Hydrotreating, Platformer/CCR and Light Naphtha Isomerization Processes. After graduating from Chemical Engineering in Middle East Technical University, he started his career in TÜPRAŞ in 2013, where he took different roles in Process Department. In addition to his management role, he is very much interested in increasing digitalization in refinery processes, and continues to fulfill his passion by creating new digital tools for refinery, by coding programs in R, Python and Java.
