Ignazio Arces

Ignazio Arces is a Senior Manager of Downstream at Eni. He is the CEO of Gela’s Refinery responsible for the performance of the company, as dictated by the board’s overall strategy, he reports to the board. In 2019, he started up the Gela’s bio refinery converting an old industrial site. As the Refinery Manager, he was the leader giving directions to all the workers and conducting the safety training, monitoring every operation to make sure that environmental standards, government directives and safety requirements were followed, monitoring all costs, setting the company targets/budget and finally ensuring that profits were maintained.
